OUR WINS SO FAR
Strengthening ECE Professionals:
Our Results
100 Professionals at 12 Sites
In the first year of our Nurturing Minds Project, we supported 12 sites and over 100 child care professionals in implementing Conscious Discipline programming. In our second year of work, we will be working directly with Conscious Discipline to provide in-person training, on-site coaching, and assistance with leadership team implementation.

Improving Financial Literacy and HR
The Alliance funded projects with 5 partners to serve 76 childcare professionals at over 66 different childcare programs in St. Louis County and City. Each partner trained and offered technical assistance to providers in the areas of financial literacy and human resources. After completing this first year admin capacity pilot, providers reported:
Financial improvements within their programs
Using stronger interviewing processes for hiring quality staff
Increased skills in goal setting and planning
Development of new policies and procedures
Becoming more effective leaders
