This year, Gateway Early Childhood Alliance worked in partnership with advocates all over Missouri to unlock $162 million for early childhood care and education. Hundreds of you came with us to the capitol to make this happen.

A Message from Gateway Early Childhood Alliance Board President, Dr. Albert Sanders
As Chair of the Gateway Early Childhood Alliance Board, I would like to provide an update on the current state of the organization.
The Board continues to move forward with the Executive Director search in partnership with Boardwalk Consulting and the search committee. At the convening of early childhood professionals on August 3, we gathered valuable insights that will help inform the selection process and ensure we identify the leader best suited to advance the Alliance's mission and serve our early childhood community.
During this transition period, the Alliance remains fully operational. All programs and initiatives are continuing without interruption, including our partnership with Child Care Aware on the Child Care Works initiative and the important services and supports provided through that collaboration.
On behalf of the Board, I want to thank our partners, stakeholders, and community members for their ongoing support, engagement, and commitment to the Alliance. Your partnership is essential as we work through this process and continue strengthening early childhood systems and services across our region.
We look forward to sharing monthly updates as the search progresses and appreciate your continued confidence in the work of the Gateway Early Childhood Alliance.
